I help entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life using Lean Game Design techniques. I co-founded Shufflebrain, a design studio building smart games for a connected world. Our clients include Popcap, EA, Harmonix, eBay, nytimes.com, Netflix, Happify, Indiegogo, Age of Learning, and numerous startups. In 2007 we developed and launched an original Facebook brain game, Photograb, which we sold to Lumos Labs in 2009. This Fall, we're offering a 10-week bootcamp for startups who want to turbo-charge their MVP design process. I'm the author of Community Building on the Web (2000) and The Player's Journey (forthcoming 2014). I'm also an adjunct profession of Game Design at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, where I co-developed the original game design curriculum. I have a B.A. in Experimental Psych, and a Ph.D in behavioral neuroscience. I look forward to getting in touch and helping you with your project.
