Amy Dawson, M.D., M.P.H., FAAFP, worked as the associate director and the medical director at the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program, a family medicine residency program with dual accreditation by both the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and the American Osteopathic Association from 2012-2020. After earning her M.D. from The Ohio State University, Dr. Dawson trained in family medicine at the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program. Following her training, she spent 3 years in private practice at Brooklyn Medical Associates, followed by 4.5 years as the medical director of the Matthew 25 Health and Dental free clinic, and 4 years practicing in Quito, Ecuador.
