I am a Military veteran and management professional with a key focus in the area of providing resilience through security operations, management of resources and projects to achieve that.
In my experience of about 19 years in an international environment in APAC, East Africa and Europe I have developed and executed different strategies relevant to teams that I have led in the areas of Risk Assessment and Crisis Management which includes a function of managing threats using intelligence and datamining.
I have designed & implemented physical security infrastructure and evaluated existing designs to address business needs to make security a business enabler. I have investigated minor and major incidents and scenarios which have adversely affected businesses and developed processes to prevent losses as a follow up.
In the past I have fostered an environment where I have trained and mentored security teams to ensure security operations, business continuity and crisis preparedness by preparing for likely disruptions with alternate plans and additional resources, this also includes preparing organisations for critical incidents which may have existential implications by establishing Crisis Management Teams.
