In Peru, what nobody is told is that when you sue, the lawsuit will last at least 2-3 years. The reason is because it is very easy financially to appeal and continue a judicial process. So most try to get to the supreme court. The advice I can give is, always try to settle cases before trial and do not believe any lawyer who says that cases will end quickly.
