Having a perfect work life balance is an ethos I subscribe with, which has brought me here at Clarity
My Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Marketing) has prepared me for the role in marketing and sales domain. It involved a great deal of independent research, development of business acumen, requiring initiative and self- motivation.
Last year, I had run a 5k marathon. While running, I thought about quitting approximately a 100 times (and that’s a lowball estimate). But despite the physical fatigue and early morning chills, I kept going. I’m that person. Once I commit to do something, it will happen. Now if I put that perseverance to work , I don’t have to run marathons, but help run a million dollars’ worth company.
If I’m in a conference room and the video isn’t working, I’m not the sort to simply call the IT and wait. I’ll also (gracefully) crawl under the table and check everything is properly plugged in, getting across that I am a take-charge problem solver.
My approach to management is simple: I strive to be the kind of leader I’d want to work for, a proactive team player and not a mere dictator. I’ve always had a knack for communicating with people—the easygoing and the difficult alike—and I’d love to bring that skill to the position being offered.
My career began as a Marketing consultant for an e-commerce business called Nearbuy (Formerly known as Groupon India). In the first six months, with client acquisition as the Key Performance Indicator, I over achieved the sales target by 5%, monthly and consequently got promoted to the role of Key Account Manager. It involved a great deal of strategizing business opportunities for clients in the Food and Beverage Industry. I got to work with data tools like Tableau and Google analytics, as it involved considerable quantitative analysis. Alongside, having to defend my data analysis and business recommendations, during both internal discussion and presentations to clients, has taught me to think creatively and rigorously. The extensive use of computers for analysis, data compilation and presentation of reports has made me familiar with spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation packages. These were incredible and valuable opportunities to learn about management and obtain experience and knowledge that cannot be learnt through books and classroom study alone. I started to enjoy working around numbers, designing campaigns, managing clients and handling objections and no sooner than later realized that the field of strategy and consultancy was my calling.
I also bring to the table strong computer proficiency in Microsoft and Google suites- Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Google Analytics, Tableau, Hubspot, etc , along with experience in organizing and participating in extra-curricular and co-curricular events during my scholarly days.
I spend my leisure time working my way through recipes that I cook for my loved ones. I love to dance and workout regularly. Not quite long ago, but I have started indulging myself in daily dose of newspaper, to keep myself updated with all that’s happening around me.
In all honesty, the projects I would take up would be a work for me and not a mere job. I can assure you timely submission of deliverable, drafted with utmost efficiency and as per requirements. Hoping to work with you.
