ECMAScript 6 (JavaScript Future Standards)
Created 10 years ago in Technology / Software Development

Willing to make your current NodeJS / frontend JavaScript project future-proof? Use ES6 rather than current standards (ECMASCRIPT).
ES6, with an improved syntax, class definition, Promises, Proxies (used for code introspection upon runtime), iterators (ensuring great performance when looping over large datasets), as well as arrow-functions.
I can help you quickstart your next JavaScript project with ES6. This is also applicable to frontend projects, even if browsers yet don't support ES6 (through the use of an ES6 to ES5 transpiler).
I successfully implemented a full-ES6 workflow for a project I am leading, Crisp. Our development team is now more productive, crafting beautiful JavaScript code that is maintainable - https://crisp.im/

I have been working over the last decade in the Web development world. I founded and lead-developed Jappix, and provided Jappix development services to clients around the globe. Most recently, I started the Crisp project, which long-term goal is to unify the ways small business communicate with their clients (all-in-one: company website design + domain name management + email box management + virtual phone number generation + chatbox). It is kinda huge, but we are moving fast - https://crisp.im/ About Jappix, an older project of mine, it is an XMPP Web-client that I founded, which is one amongst other XMPP clients to implement the highest number of XEP (XMPP extensions). I also worked on implementing a client-side bridge library for the XMPP Jingle protocol, using WebRTC. My skills include: JavaScript (ES6), NodeJS, RabbitMQ, Redis, Python, Django, Bash, CSS3, HTML5, Jade, CoffeeScript, SASS/Compass, WebRTC, XMPP. - My personal homepage: https://valeriansaliou.name/ - You can review my development work here: https://github.com/valeriansaliou - I am also a part-time designer, you can find some of my designs here: https://dribbble.com/valeriansaliou
