Starting as Graphics Designer for print, I was an early adopter of Web Graphics. Made an easy living as IT engineer for several years but went back to where my heart was as a Graphics Design freelancer, specialising in web technology. Falling in love with Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) in 2003, I'm happy to see it is now part of HTML5, meaning I'm sort of a Guru on the topic. As a result I came to be an Illustrator and advisor on a book on the topic, currently written by the author Mark Lewis, a DITA specialist.
