Dr. Alan Glazier is a practicing optometrist and owner and founder of one of the largest private optometric practices in the Washington, DC suburbs. Dr. Glazier is consultant to many ophthalmology companies, lectures internationally, publishes and blogs on eye care related topics. In 2011 and 2012 he was voted one of the most influential optometrists in the US by the VisionMonday organization. Dr. Glazier is co-founder of the SeeingIsBelieving/CEingIsBelieving virtual conferences, the two first of their kind in the eye care industry. Dr. Glazier is inventor of LiquiLens accommodating intra-ocular lens and founder of Vision Solutions, Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary, VST Europe, tcompanies he formed to bring his novel lens to market.
