Doug Mirsky, PhD, leads Knowledge Curation for HighTable. He has over a decade of experience working in the life science industry including seven years with Gerson Lehrman Group where he was most recently the Senior Vice President in the Life Sciences Business Development team. Previously, Doug directed the Research operations of Gerson Lehrman Group's Austin, TX office - the largest Research office globally. In that role, he oversaw an operations of 60 Research professionals dedicated to servicing clients throughout the Americas. He was hired by GLG to run the expert-facing business unit of GLGs Healthcare practice area and was ultimately responsible for the health, utility and growth of the 60,000+ Healthcare Council Members including physicians, scientists and healthcare service executives. Prior to joining GLG, Doug worked in medical education with Medicus International. In that role he worked with numerous big pharma and biotech clients to develop their scientific publication strategies. Before that, he was an Assistant Professor of Anatomy and Physiology at CUNY and SUNY. Doug has a PhD from the University of Chicago in Evolutionary Anatomy.
