Park Ranger
Provides customer services to park users.Informs patrons of the Town's rules, regulations, ordinances, and municipal codes pertaining to the use of the parks and the facilities. Patrols and monitors parks and Town owned land for damage or safety hazards to the grounds, facilities and playground equipment. Reports any incidents to the appropriate personnel.Anticipates and solves problems, responds to complaints and educates the public on park safety. Call for police assistance when needed. Completes corresponding incident reports as necessary; may verify user permits.Responsible for park security Interacts with the public, staff and organizations using the parks.Responsible for maintaining order in the parks and fostering an atmosphere of cooperative fun and respect among park patrons.Other duties as assigned.
