Mr. Saxton is the Founding Partner of Terra Group Holdings; the Co-Founder, CEO and Chairman of Terra Sustainable Technologies; the Co-Founder of the Terra Conservation Initiative and the Co-Founder and Chairman of Terra Organics.
Previously, Mr. Saxton was the Managing Partner of a private investment partnership, Terra Firma Capital Group, as well as the CEO of FTL Solar, a leading provider of solar integrated fabrics and structures.
Prior to that, Mr. Saxton served as a Portfolio Manager for a multi-strategy hedge fund, where he was responsible for research and investment allocation, including the identification, purchase, management and resale of real estate investment properties. He was also an Assistant Portfolio Manager with Birinyi Associates, Inc., www.birinyi.com, a money management and research firm based in Westport, CT where he played a key role in managing $1.4+ billion in assets using money flow and technical analysis as a lead investment indicator.
Mr. Saxton is an active member of the Explorers Club, www.explorers.org, an international, multidisciplinary, professional organizations dedicated to the advancement of field research and scientific exploration; a member of the National Arts Club, an organization founded in 1898 for the purpose of furthering art and artists in America by fostering educational programs; and a member of the Board of Advisors for the Berkshire School, www.berkshireschool.org, a private secondary school in Sheffield, Massachusetts. Mr. Saxton has spent a significant amount of time working internationally on a multitude of conservation and expeditionary related projects, and he is an avid outdoorsman with a passion for mountaineering, sailing, skiing and horseback riding.
Mr. Saxton holds an A.B. in International Relations and Spanish from Boston University.
