Stuart Friedman, a recognized expert in high-impact business communication, has visited over 35 countries throughout his career in the high technology industry developing a passion for organizational behavior, travel and world cultures. In 2005, he founded Global Context to advise organizations across all industries on how more effective communication can build trust, align resources, successfully integrate M&A workforces, work across cultural differences and deliver presentations that achieve quantifiable business results. In 2016, Stuart launched the OratorPro App Suite™, the first mobile app to use real-time feedback from a live audience to improve a speaker’s presentation skills. OratorPro has been featured in Bloomberg Businessweek Magazine. Prior to founding Global Context, Stuart held senior management and executive positions in marketing, business development and sales with leading companies such as Texas Instruments, Intel and Honeywell, as well as several startup companies. As vice president and general manager at Terayon Communication Systems, he led his organization out of a deep financial deficit, and achieved what was described by industry analysts as "a meteoric rise," during which Terayon "successfully climbed the market-share ladder in the face of intense competition," becoming the second largest cable modem vendor in the world. Stuart provides clients with best practices for cultivating long-term relationships. His innovative approach leverages the latest developments in brain science to benefit his clients. Through his consulting, coaching and training programs, clients are enlightened to the impact their behaviors have on business outcomes with anyone, anywhere. Stuart successfully trained teams at Sony in improving multicultural communication, coached Genentech scientists and executives on shaping and delivering presentations at industry conferences, and has received accolades after working with Apple, Microsoft, Nissan, Oracle, among others. Stuart has developed online executive seminars for ExecSense (a division of the Financial Times), and is a contributing author to Business Insider and Fortune.com. Interviews with Stuart have been heard on WCBS NewsRadio in New York City, WTOPS Radio in Washington D.C., NBCNews Bay Area, and on the BBC.com and Forbes.com websites. A sought-after speaker, Stuart has presented at TEDx events across the U.S., World Affairs Council of Northern California, and IEEE Silicon Valley Chapter. He has guest lectured for University of Southern California’s Graduate Program in Applied Psychology, and San Francisco State University’s Business School. Friedman attended Carnegie Mellon University before graduating from Southern Methodist University with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. Global Context is based in the San Francisco Bay Area where Stuart resides with his wife Robin.
