Steven worked for me at TrainSignal for close to 4 years. When we first brought Steven over from his previous employer, he was hired for his design skills and understanding of business websites. He was excellent at both of these and would have been a great hire even if that was all he brought to the table. What we didn't realize at the time, was all of the other hidden talent and potential Steven had.

Over the 3+ years Steven worked at TrainSignal he developed into one of the most crucial pieces of the company. An "A" employee who was instrumental in many of our key projects including our most important project in company history, launching our online education platform.

Steven is a rare find. He is a very talented designer, expert ux/ui practitioner, and can also code. But above all that, he has as excellent business mind that a CEO can relate to. He can connect the dots between the web/design world and what a business needs to be successful.

Overall, Steven is an immensely valuable person to have on the team and when I start a new company, Steven will be one of the first people that I call.

I had the great opportunity to work with Steven at TrainSignal. Right out of the gates, one thing that caught my eye is what a great leader and communicator he is. He set up the structure for morning meetings, while also establishing goals and project deadlines for the developers and QA team, which I was a part of. However, his real strength is his thorough knowledge of website development, where he made sure the TrainSignal website was intuitive and running efficiently. Steven is a true talent who will have a very successful career.

Steven is one of the most talented, well-rounded and knowledgeable developers I have worked with. Steven is an expert in many mediums. I have had the pleasure of working in many areas with Steven, including UX and usability projects, HTML/CSS, JavaScript and Razor. Steven helped the TrainSignal development team become an organized, efficient and successful group with his knowledge of software architecture, a large number of programming languages and project management skills. Steven is a pleasure to work with and those that have the opportunity to work with him should be honored.

If you have the opportunity to work with Steven you'll never forget it. We worked in different groups, he was on the Development team and I was on the Marketing, but I still learned more from him in the two years we worked together than anyone in my working career. His knowledge of business strategy and project management is excellent. He always knew how to find the key areas of focus when looking at large projects and how to get them done effectively. He was always willing to help out on anything from website design to designing posters for an event, and the outcome was always superb. His work demeanor is outstanding, I think I've seen him agitated just once in the office. He makes everyone feel happy and engaged and I'm so happy I've gotten the pleasure to work with him.

Steven was amazing to work with. His skills as a graphic artist and web designer were tremendous. Steven was always full of great ideas, took direction well, and required very little supervision. I always knew that when I gave him an assignment, he would produce incredible results well before his deadline. He never let me down with his fresh, clean designs. If I had the chance, I would hire him all over again.

I've worked with Steven in several endeavors, and he has always delivered top quality work. He is also very good at grasping the client's needs and tailoring an innovative design to meet them. I would highly recommend working with Steven.

Steven has proven to be an endless and tireless source of excellent information and fresh ideas. He was the genesis of, and leader in the planning and execution for the Greenville RiverRock Festival for multiple years. He also revived the BluMoon Film Festival and brought this project under the Magnolia Arts Center. His project outline, design and planning was so clear and effective, they has been used ever since.
