With all the craziness of weddings it can sometimes be a little stressful, Steven has a way of making you feel at ease in any situation. I can't tell you how thrilled my wife and I were with our wedding pictures. Steven was able to capture, not just the moment, but the felling of that moment. He truly has an eye for capturing and bringing out beauty.
I hate being photographed because I'm never satisfied with the outcome and often say... do I really look like this? But, with the wedding photos taken by Steve I didn't say that once. The photos were beautiful and make recollecting the day all the better. Steve is also really easy to work with, so I didn't feel oddly posed or unnatural, and he has a great eye for location/surroundings.
I had Steven as a photography instructor when I attended Art school at the Art Institute of California. His course focused on composition and narrative. Because of that class, I look at images in a new way. I believe those tools remain a very important part of my work process to this very day. Steven was also very passionate in helping students achieve their vision on projects, a very important trait in my opinion.
My husband and I hired Steven to photograph our wedding. We were absolutely thrilled with the photos that he took and enjoyed working with him a great deal. Six years after our wedding, guests in our home still comment on our framed pictures and our photo album -- the pictures beautifully capture the feeling of the moment. My wife and I hired Steven in April 2007 to shoot our wedding in the Riviera Maya, Mexico.
