After a 35-year career at P&G in R&D I retired as a Research Fellow and started a manufacturing process consulting business, focused on the Web Converting industry, which serves a diverse product portfolio from batteries to paper, packaging films, and nonwovens. I was an internal expert on Web Handling and provided training and leadership of web processing technology groups. I now provide consulting services to web converting companies that are developing new converting machines or optimizing existing ones. I am a co-inventor of about two dozen patents related to baby diapers and other paper products and their methods of making. Building on my role as a process developer and using modeling/simulation in my work, I am also a contractor for a company that sells math and modeling/simulation software.
