Sonal is an alumnus of Shri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi and is a qualified Chartered and a Cost accountant. He has completed the “Advanced Management Program” at Harvard Business School (MA).
Sonal started his professional career as an intern with Price Waterhouse. Thereafter, Sonal gained broad international experience in India, Asia, Middle East, Europe, and North America, with Glaxo SmithKline (GSK), Nimbus Communications (Nimbus), Aditya Birla Group (ABG), Reliance ADA Group (RADAG).
Sonal is currently the Group CFO, Alhasawi Group based in Kuwait and has been associated with the Kuwaiti Alghanim Family for close to a decade, as the Head of Mr. Omar Alghanim’s Family Office and prior to that as a key member of Alghanim Industries’ (AI) Finance leadership.
As the Group CFO at Al Hasawi Group, a Kuwaiti retailer and manufacturer, Sonal is building on strong relationships to drive digital transformation and expansion. At Alghanim Industries, a large complex privately owned conglomerate in the Gulf Region, Sonal worked with the Family members and key stakeholders to support growth and change.
