I spent 11 years working with the largest provider of Qualified Intermediary services. My time was spent educating and consulting with clients on 1031 exchanges so they could successful defer tax payments to the IRS and state revenue departments. Transaction ranged from commercial real estate to personal property (barges, trucks, construction equipment) exchanges. Commercial real estate transaction made up most of the work I performed. Values and types of transactions ranged from large billion dollar multi-use properties to smaller single unit residential properties. As an attorney licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, it has been my pleasure to write and lecture on 1031 exchanges and other related topics for attorneys, CPA, Real Estate Agents and Investors. My work was focused on the Mid-Atlantic region but I worked on transaction throughout the nation.
