Landing a Job in Broadcast Journalism

With over 7 years in the Broadcast journalism industry, I have traveled to three different states and worked in three different sized TV markets. I have experience in being a multimedia journalist (AKA one man band) and working with a photographer. I can offer assistance with getting an eager news reporter ready for the news world by sharing the ins and outs of writing and videography all while meeting every deadline. I was one of the youngest News Directors in my first job so I can point out what they are looking for to set yourself apart. I can also share the realities of this business and what certain shifts and schedule could look like.
