Sam Zaid

I'm an engineer and entrepreneur. Currently Founder & CEO at Getaround, the leading marketplace for peer-to-peer car rentals that won TechCrunch Disrupt NYC 2011. Before Getaround, I started Apption, an enterprise software consultancy, and Gazaro, a retail price intelligence platform. I'm an E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year, a Microsoft Code Award winner, and a Google Scholarship recipient. I studied Engineering Physics at Queen's University in Canada and then Artificial Intelligence & Robotics through the Singularity University Graduate Studies Program. I'm currently living in San Francisco where Getaround is headquartered.
