Working alongside Ryan, I have witnessed how he has worked very hard on every project and went the extra mile for each one of his clients. As an educator, he has the passion to keep learning more—whether it’s challenging himself with new software, a new process, or even understanding his clients’ goals. With this passion and dedication, Ryan’s work really shines through. While Ryan possesses a wide range of skill sets, he really is a master at all of them—whether it’s 3D Animation, e-Learning, Motion Graphics, Illustration, etc.

Ryan is not a one size fits all kind of designer. Ryan is a person of integrity and honesty who will tell you whether the project is right for the both of you. He does not just yes to everything, which can be hard in this business. That kind of character is priceless. If you are looking to hire an expert for your project and are in need of a person with integrity and insight to see your project through to the end, I would look no further than Ryan Dewitt.

Ryan is an outstanding person to have on your team. I've had the pleasure of working with Ryan on large eLearning modules for Cisco. He is a very detail-oriented animator and possesses a keen sense of design. His personality makes him an excellent team player that is willing to mentor as well as learn from others. His creative expertise coupled with the ability to accurately interpret the needs of the project assisted greatly in delivering a product that exceeded stakeholder expectations. I sincerely hope to work with Ryan again in the future.

I first had the pleasure of working with Ryan when our company contracted with him to help us with a project for one of our clients. Ryan was incredible to work with not only because of his abundant talent and skills, but because he is also very detail oriented and very thorough. He is 100% reliable, and came through with every deadline. Ryan really helped us “WOW” our client!

Ryan's enthusiasm spread rapidly through everyone at MindWorks when he started. His range of skills is impressive and he is dedicated to improving every project he works on. He balances an eye to detail with leadership and guidance. When we needed someone to learn a new complex software, Ryan not only volunteered but actively networked with instructors and users to learn it thoroughly. I sincerely recommend him.

Ryan worked with The Catevo Group as a contractor to aid in the development of 3D environments, models, and animation which were integrated into a Flash-based environment. The project was very successful and we will continue to work with Ryan when needed.

Ryan is a pleasure to work with and not only looks to perfect his craft and deliverables, but add valuable insight into the projects themselves. He asks pertinent questions and will offer a broad range of ideas and options. This is all in conjunction with very tight deadlines and multiple revision cycles.

Ryan is a great professor, and was able to mold the class I took with him to fit my needs and the needs of other students. His flexibility and ability to answer questions directly made his class one of the most enjoyable I have had in a long time. I would certainly take another class with Ryan in the future, and recommend him in a heartbeat!

Ryan is always excited and enthusiastic about new media and how it can be applied to various student projects. He encourages student to jump in head first into unfamiliar territory such as new programs, new concepts and/or new techniques in order to improve our skills and knowledge of new media. In addition, Ryan is a great supporter of his students - He is always willing to take time to help a student in or out of class. I value the knowledge, opportunities and experiences that I have acquired in Ryan’s classroom.

Ryan is a top-notch guy and does great work. He has a fantastic and positive outlook both in life and on any creative work he's undergoing. Ryan always keeps an eye on any technical advantages that can be applied to develop new creative aesthetics. His focus is constantly on what is best for clients for the long term and his work with students shows that he is quickly able to adapt to their learning styles. I have enjoyed working with him on prior design projects and look forward to working with him again on many future projects down the road.

Ryan DeWitt, Creative, Strategic eLearning & Media Consultant answered:

There's a bounty waiting as your company grows beyond that one man startup but also a lot more stress. But it's that very Stress which will enable you to grow. So embrace it, buckle up and work your ass off.

1) I also suggest partnering with pros that need YOU and develop a service bartering agreement.
2) Network like hell for contractors before a job surfaces, it's usually too late to spec jobs and kick off projects safely.
3) Do only what you're GREAT at and this will afford you more time to work on projects.
