I worked in the collections industry for 15 years. I managed a division of a litigating collection agency. I was involved in the entire legal process, from asset investigation, requesting the summons and complaint to attending the court hearing and taking the stand. I was also directly involved in enforcing the judgements. Securing liens, requesting writs of execution to attach wages or levy bank accounts etc. I can direct you in how to speak with a debt collector, when and when not to do that.
