I started working on Wall Street when I was 15 yrs old... Saw the Dot Com Bubble of the late 90's pass before my eyes, I like a deer in head lights could wait for my life to really begin with my first Venture.
Since then I've worked with CEO's, been a CEO and started from the bottom again over a half dozen times.
The one thing I learned the hard way... If you don't know what you want to create, how the heck will you EVER be able to lead others in realizing that Vision with you ?
My challenge was taking the implicit and what I thought was VERY clear to me was not very clear to my team at all.
We were all doing different things in service of achieving an objective which was unique to us all! We were not on the same page. And i realized I need to learn to craft my vision First and Foremost, very clearly and Explicitly. Specific and comprehensive with a Clear and Achievable (relative).
