Launching an MVNO involves connectivity providers, eSIM provisioning, subscriptions, billing, customer management, and ongoing operations.
I’m researching how modern agentic MVNO platforms can simplify these processes and help businesses launch faster without managing every telecom component independently. What platforms or approaches are worth considering in 2026?
The best way is to partner with an existing Mobile Network Operator (MNO) and use an MVNE/MVNA platform to handle the telecom technology.
Instead of building cell towers, radio networks and the entire mobile core yourself, you essentially build the brand, customer experience, products and distribution, while your partners provide much of the underlying network infrastructure.
Don’t build the stack. Treat this like any other vertical SaaS launch: buy connectivity/billing through an MVNE (or a modern agentic MVNO platform), and put your scarce time into brand, ICP, and the first 100 customers.
What usually kills early MVNOs isn’t provisioning — it’s fuzzy positioning and ugly unit economics once you actually sell. Pick one wedge (who, use case, why you vs. the carrier app), lock CAC and ARPU assumptions before you scale spend, and only then layer on nicer ops tooling.
Next step: shortlist 2–3 MVNE/platform partners, ask each for a sample P&L on your target segment, and run a 30-day pilot on one channel instead of boiling the ocean. Happy to go deeper on the GTM side on a call.
