MenuHow do medical device brands distribute the products(such as blood pressure monitor) from factory to end consumers in the U.S.?
1.How do medical device brands distribute the products(such as blood pressure monitor) from factory to end consumers? How many resellers are there until reaching the end consumer?
2.What is the gross margin at each stage of the distribution, starting from the factory to the end consumer?
Answers
Factory Production: The medical device is manufactured, tested, and packaged at a factory, which could be in the U.S. or overseas.
Regulatory Compliance: Before distribution, the product must meet the regulatory standards set by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and, in some cases, other regulatory bodies (e.g., UL for electrical safety).

With regards to a medical device one needs to be aware of maintenance guidelines which is important. Distribution would introduce a brand or product to resellers as well as the market. Resellers need to be familiar with handover and medical device maintenance ensuring the brand or services can be found. Every 6 and 12 months the maintenance manager is to check all devices and allocate a service ensuring the device is always performing at its best to reduce risk with regard to the patients.
There handover services are not to be without a profit margin which has the reseller made aware of responsibility.
Distributors and resellers margins need to be viewed and adjusted based on marketing the brand and services.

Best way to sell stock of disposable face masks coronvirus/covid19
Not my exact area of expertise but we went through something similar here in Asia where sellers rushed to clear stock before the government stepped in with price and export controls. If you have the logistics set up already then you could quickly sell them on: * Facebook marketplace. * eBay. * Amazon yes, but run the risk of them closing down your account. * Local classifieds and Craigslist. * Reddit though just be wary of each subreddit's advertising policies. As for how to package them, the most popular configurations I have seen here are 5-packs or 10-packs as they need to be changed on a regular basis.

How can I go about selling my patented project?
Before you consider selling your patented product, here are some questions you should consider. 1. Do I have a viable market? 2. Do I have sales/orders that show this demand 3. What sort of competitive advantage do I explicitly have over my competitors. It's important to get as much leverage as possible over whoever you plan to sell your product too. The best way to do this is to get hard data you can use to back up your claims and to find clear distinct competitive advantages which will cement a strong market position for years to come. If you have any further questions, drop me a message and I'll be more than happy to answer them :)

How would be the major differences between a centralised platform business model , a central franchise model & a distributed model?
Before you weigh the pros and cons of different platforms structures it's important to think about who your customers are and how you want the business to grow. I help companies find their most profitable customers and have worked with pre-revenue to high-growth $70M+ companies in the SaaS, consumer products and professional service spaces. We usually start our work by aligning around what the vision for the company is asking questions like "Where do we want to be in 3 years? Why?" From there we think about how customers will encounter and use the product, asking: - "Is it a business where relationships and high company involvement is needed after a sale is made?" A centralised business model is a good fit (more quality control). - "Are we a service based business seeking to minimize risk while expanding?" Then a franchise model is better. A business model/structure tumbles out having clear answers to these questions. One business structure is not inherently better than another. You're just picking the structure that best facilitates your business goals. Don't hesitate to contact me if you'd like to discuss your potential business model in more detail.

How can I go about getting the beauty products from my new cosmetic line into stores?
You're entering a highly competitive market. Aside from creating info sheets, images and video that show why your products are better than others, you will likely need to drum up interest online in advance. Keep in mind that store shelves are most always full, so to carry a new product they have to decrease the space allotted to another company. By generating true interest first, you can highlight that the product already sells. Also, don't forget to provide samples to bloggers, writers and other appropriate publications so they can review the products. That's a big step in kicking off a true word-of-mouth campaign.
