MenuWhat are some alternatives to Godaddy for web hosting?
I'm currently using Godaddy and I have very bad experience with the service so I need to find an alternative web host site with user-friendly because I don't know how to code.
I just saw a great review of Asphostportal.com, so the question is is it possible to use Asphostportal without basic coding knowledge? What about their support?

Bluehost and Namecheap domains.
shopify is very good
There are a lot of alternatives to Godaddy. Hostinger is the cheapest performance-oriented alternative to GoDaddy. Bluehost is another alternative, it is the best beginner-friendly hosting provider by far. HostGator on the other hand is a fast and resource-rich alternative to Godaddy. SiteGround and Bluehost are other alternatives.
If you want to host a static website, you can do it for free on github or gitlab.
namecheap.com is a best website to buy domain and web hostiong
I often get asked this question and have helped a lot of businesses move from hosting provides to cloud providers like Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform or Heroku and others. One of the advantages is that you manage or have visibility on the underlying technology hosting your site. Depending on the site you have you will need a virtual machine (old school), containers in Kubernetes or the best case will be to go serverless in the form of a Web App, Function or Lambda.
Some of the easiest websites to design and manage in my experience are Squarespace.com and Wix.com. Shopify is also a good one especially for Ecommerce.
There are many alternatives to GoDaddy for web hosting, including:
Bluehost: Bluehost is a popular web hosting provider that offers a variety of plans for personal and business websites. They also offer a free domain name for the first year.
HostGator: HostGator is a well-known web hosting provider that offers a variety of plans for personal and business websites, as well as VPS and dedicated hosting options.
SiteGround: SiteGround is a web hosting provider that offers a variety of plans for personal and business websites, as well as cloud hosting options. They have a good reputation for customer support.
A2 Hosting: A2 Hosting is a web hosting provider that offers a variety of plans for personal and business websites, as well as VPS and dedicated hosting options. They are known for their fast load times.
InMotion Hosting: InMotion Hosting is a web hosting provider that offers a variety of plans for personal and business websites, as well as VPS and dedicated hosting options. They have a good reputation for customer support.
DreamHost: DreamHost is a web hosting provider that offers a variety of plans for personal and business websites, as well as VPS and dedicated hosting options. They also offer a free domain name for the first year.
Hostinger: Hostinger is a web hosting provider that offers low-cost shared hosting plans, as well as VPS and dedicated hosting options. They are known for their affordable pricing.
GreenGeeks: GreenGeeks is a web hosting provider that offers a variety of plans for personal and business websites, as well as VPS and dedicated hosting options. They are known for their eco-friendly hosting solutions.
It's important to research and compare the different plans and features offered by each provider to determine which one is the best fit for your needs.

Is go daddy a good hosting option if I want to start small and scale to hundreds of thousands of users?
Godaddy is pain for developers and technical people, as it is set up for simple things. You can use any good hosting companies or any cloud servers. But if you need to talk to a human godaddy is a good option. Scalability will not be an issue with Godaddy, as they can sell you any infrastructure when you grow bigger.AA

For Initial Users: Sell User License or make it into SaaS?
SaaS. Always. I am a founder of a Startup about to launch our first product (mobile app). We looked at this very question. In the end we looked at the impact the decision would have on our company's valuation. Based on my initial, informal discussions with funders in my area (Canadian Atlantic Region) with single point of sale revenue a healthy technical start up is worth approximately 4-6X annual revenue whereas the same company with a subscription or SAAS model is worth 10x and up.RL

Which is better for SEO: subfolder or subdomain?
Great Question! As I'm sure many other SEO's here have mentioned.. you should absolutely be leveraging the sub-folder as opposed to the sub-domain as Google and Bing associate sub domains as separate entities with their own value metrics outside of the primary root. The only real time I would recommend a sub-domain over a sub-directory would be due to platform restrictions (Shopify, Wix, etc) where you don't have access to build an infrastructure to support nested content from multiple hosts. Definitely worth chatting about, however you shouldn't have any problems using the sub folder with any other host you'd like.TM

Will moving my website to another web host / server affect my google rankings?
Typically just moving from one server to the next has no issues at all so long as you're not making any other changes to the site, such as changing URLs in a re-design process. Just make sure its a quality, respected server. If the server has issues then, yeah, you'll inherit them. But otherwise you'll be fine.SD
