I'm speaking with a graphic designer to create a nice logo and then I'm speaking with developers to create a prototype and possibly a minimum viable product.
My app idea can't be found on the app store or play store, so I'm confident that with great marketing I could bring in an abudant amount of users. How do I get the funding I need?

I am assuming you have validated this with your target audience? That being said, I believe you will need at least 2x that much to build and market the application effectively. Crowd sourcing may be a route, but it will be combined with some boot strapping, personal savings and investment from your network as few investors will put anything in until you have an MVP.
