Hi! so sorry to learn that you are going through this! I have some information for you in the following link HOWEVER please note that I am not a Doctor or Medical professional (I do work in healthcare and I have an MBA in Healthcare Mgmt)-- I am a researcher and sociologist and I personally use the following website for valuable health info. Consult your doctor before taking any type of herbal remedy or supplement. Keep a list of all your medications, supplements, and herbal remedies. Purchase herbal supplements from reputable sources to avoid contamination and unhealthy ingredients. You may wish to get a second opinion from another doctor as well, as sometimes I find that certain doctors struggle with working in partnership with their patients, especially when the patient is a woman AND when they may be a woman of color due to underlying biases, etc. Some doctors are more open to holistic approaches to health as well. Without further ado, here is the link to the info, and please be safe and well!! Find a healthcare professional that listens and understands that you are in charge of your health :-): Request a call with me so that we can discuss this further within my lines of expertise- https://www.healthline.com/health/fibroids-natural-treatment#types
The pelvic area is particularly important when it comes to female reproductive system. The pelvic area contains pelvic floor muscles (PFM). These are two layers of muscles that wrap around the vagina and the vaginal opening. These muscles provide structural support for organs, assist with continence (bladder and bowel), contract during orgasm, and also help with stability of your core and posture. Fibroids are tumours made of smooth muscle cells and fibrous connective tissue. Fibroids can be of various types:
i. Intramural fibroids: Intramural fibroids are the most common type of fibroid. These types appear within the muscular wall of the uterus. Intramural fibroids may grow larger and can stretch your womb.
ii. Subserosal fibroids: Subserosal fibroids form on the outside of your uterus, which is called the serosa. They may grow large enough to make your womb appear bigger on one side.
iii. Pedunculated fibroids: Subserosal tumours can develop a stem, a slender base that supports the tumour. When they do, they are known as pedunculated fibroids.
iv. Submucosal fibroids: These types of tumours develop in the middle muscle layer, or myometrium, of your uterus. Submucosal tumours are not as common as the other types.
The most important point to note here is that you have hypothyroidism and it is linked with fibroids. Women with hypothyroidism were seen to be three times more likely to have fibroids, especially larger fibroids, in comparison to women without hypothyroidism. Given these findings, Walch and her team concluded that hypothyroidism could be linked to fibroids. Factors that increase the risk of fibroids include African American ethnicity and age—as Walch and her team verified—as well as family history and obesity. Although factors like these may have a genetic component, some research points to controllable factors like dietary habits that could influence fibroid risk. It is suggested that a diet heavy in green vegetables may protect women from developing fibroids.
Certain home remedies and natural treatments can have a positive effect on fibroids, including:
1. acupuncture
2. yoga
3. massage
4. Gui Zhi Fu Ling Tang (GFLT), a traditional Chinese medicine formula
5. applying heat for cramps (avoid heat if you experience heavy bleeding)
Dietary changes can help as well. Avoid meats and high-calorie foods. Instead, opt for foods high in flavonoids, green vegetables, green tea, and cold-water fish such as tuna or salmon.
Managing your stress levels and losing weight if you’re overweight can also benefit women with fibroids.

Wish you a good health. Besides if you do have any questions give me a call: https://clarity.fm/joy-brotonath
Hi, I know your question is from a while ago, but I am just now getting used to using this platform. I can help you, I had triplets naturally and have dealt with health situations that were all derived from the stress of running a full-time business and raising four kids. Stress leads to adrenal fatigue. You want to research functional medicine options in your area. I am intimately familiar with the testing they do (tests that are holistic and preventative, rather than reactionary, after the fact). I can also point you to the right supplements and manufacturers of those supplements. If you haven't already been helped, I'd love to chat further to give you the specific information that helped me turn adrenal fatigue, diabetes and sleepless nights around in 3 months. You have to be willing to do the work, though! Would love to help!
Best, Sue

How do you balance attending life events (friend's weddings, bday etc) with running your startup with no cash?
Ramping up a new business is challenging, and there's no doubt that some — emphasis on SOME — sacrifices have to be made. Destination weddings and big vacations may have to wait until your cash flow improves. However, be careful not to fall into the trap of believing that any time spent away from your business is wasted or counterproductive. There's an enormous pile of research spanning better than a century that proves humans need time off. Henry Ford knew it when he cut his factory shifts from 60-hour, 6-day weeks to 40-hour, 5-day weeks. The smartest startups know it (New Relic strongly discourages unauthorized overtime; FullContact pays its team $7.5k on top of the PTO to leave their phones and email alone when they take vacation). Creativity and happiness and productivity are all improved by taking time off. So even when you feel like you absolutely CANNOT take a day to spend with your friends and family once a week, you should. If you're really feeling stretched thin, chances are your schedule could stand for some optimization. This was one of my biggest challenges, and overcoming it has been the single biggest reward of my career: I now work about 10–30 hours a week and get MORE done than when I was working 70–90 hour weeks. If you'd like to talk more about scheduling and happiness, I'd love to help. This is right up my alley in terms of expertise and experience. :) Good luck!JL

What negative effect has your drive for startup success and money had on your life? If you could go back, what would you have done differently?
A few years back, my ambition was the only part of my life that I cared about. I was neglecting my health, relationships, and my happiness — all in the name of "more". I got a rude awakening when my beard turned white and fell out in patches. I was LITERALLY killing myself with the way I was working. At that point, I took a self-destructive stance: I'd focus on my health and happiness more than work, even if it meant I wasn't making as much progress at work. The irony was that I had been overworking before, so my productivity and success IMPROVED when I scaled back and approached work with more balance. I'm currently living in Thailand with my girlfriend, working roughly 30 hours each week and earning twice as much as I did before. I'm also making more progress on my hobby projects than I did when I was only focused on work. I've also lost 40 lbs and generally just enjoy being alive. And my beard grew back. I've worked with some of my clients to bring in more balance, and they've seen similar improvements across the board. I'd be happy to discuss philosophy and strategy behind all of this with you if you'd like. Just remember: we work to create the opportunity to live life on our terms. If work is preventing us from living the life we want, we've lost sight of the purpose of working. Good luck!JL

How do you handle the overwhelming excitement when you start working on an idea?
I recommend committing yourself to a standard vetting process. There's nothing like a night of sleep to set you straight. Try to disprove the thesis. If you can't stop thinking about it after 60 days, you may be onto something.TE

Lots of entrepreneurs work 60 to 80 hours a week. This isn't what I consider a good work/life balance. How would you improve it?
Say "NO." It's a complete sentence.ML
