MenuHow secure is Clarify.fm with content and recordings?
Looking over Clarity.fm's TOS and Privacy, I couldn't see any notes regarding the calls. What's the security with all calls and its data stream? I didn't read EVERYTHING in detail for the TOS and PP, but I'm guessing all conversations all not really private if Clarity.fm routes all voice through their servers?
I mean, nothing within the US is not really "secure" at all with the amount of wild laws, breaches, disasters around "holes" in the system for various big well known companies.
Clarity.fm clearly states in the TOS that ALL content should be run through their system, and that no sharing of other mediums is allow, simply to keep users "safe".
I'm pretty sure I would rather pick Telegram for secure messaging and voice than…

If you feel that Clarity isn’t secure enough for your needs, you’re welcome to use another platform. Also, if you have something that’s extremely private, your welcome to use another platform.
Clarity is a great platform with great customer support. I’ve needed them numerous times and they’ve always been super responsive and helpful. I only wish they promoted the platform even more.
Good luck

What does clarity do really well? And what could clarity improve on in the future?
Their phone system works really and simply delivers what is expected. I think having an availability time calendar would be very beneficial so that scheduling matches our availability. Being able to record calls and charge clients an additional fee for that would be great. Also, screen sharing would be good too.

We're developing a web product with a team of 10 developers. How can I protect my source code if anyone leaves the company?
If you're using source control, it's easy to track source and control access — or revoke access — if someone leaves the company. Also, your developers should have signed a contract about the project itself that clearly places the source code under your/the client's/the company's control, and if/when they leave, they release all rights to code created under that contract. You can never be 100% sure, but these small steps will at least ensure a legal high ground should anyone steal code. Good luck!

What is best way to get my clarity profile going?
Hi there, I know this can be a frustrating problem.. I've been on Clarity since 2012 when its creator, Dan Martell, invited me and several others to the launch event and asked us to sign up as experts. For the first few years, I had hardly any calls. Also, it seemed like only those in the IT startup space were getting any traction. This was frustrating for a small business advisor like me who mostly works in the world of bricks and mortar. Things started to change for me after a few key things: 1. I started to drive my own 'tribe' to call me on Clarity. This increased my reviews and call stats on the platform and I believe this made my profile more attractive to Clarity 'native' traffic. 2. Clarity has been growing its reach. I'm meeting more and more callers who are not in the 'online startup' space who found me on Clarity. 3. More and more of the 'online startup' people are actually creating real businesses and have real business problems that I can help with... meaning they're actually having sales, organizational problems, partner concerns, etc.. not just chasing Angel Investors with their ideas. 4. I started to regularly check for public questions I could answer and I know this has led to several calls. I hope this helps, If you'd like me to review your Clarity profile and give some specific direct feedback, just arrange a call. Thanks David www.DavidCBarnett.com

Are you using Clarity Answers?
I check Clarity answers every day looking for good questions to answer. I find that many people don't write questions that allow me to truly help them because their questions lack detail and lack context of their particular situation so I can only provide generalizable advice or answers. My advice to everyone is provide as much detail as you can and write a question that solicits a very specific answer. I will answer those questions every single time.
