MenuIs it possible to search for businesses using a competitors program by scrolling webpages?
I am looking to have a list built of businesses who currently use a competitor program. There is a decal on their websites that I wanted to know if it is possible to scroll pages for.

Not clear on the type of software you’re looking to get this info on but go here and it’s likely going to have data you want and i think you can also pull reports / lists for a fee. Lmk if this works.

I work full-time at a web development company. I need more details to be able to answer this for you. You can send me a message if you don't want to publicly post more details.
You will be able to do this, but it will take around 2 weeks to go thru all 100mil websites and detect the competitor.
You could do this with Amazon AWS, and you will need a developer to help with code setup.

If you had an online marketplace for market-research freelancers, what kind of companies and project would you target?
Maybe hire a freelance market researcher to find out? ;) Generally, something like this is going to appeal to fortune 500 companies. Smaller companies and entrepreneurs are going to be doing market research themselves. From the question it is difficult to tell if you have come into possession of such a platform, or are thinking about building one. Regardless, to succeed it's crucial that you deeply understand who your target customer is and what pain you are solving for them. Most ideas for a business stem from the entrepreneur's discovery of a solution to a problem for a certain group of people. Since who has the greatest need is unclear to you at the moment, the best thing to do might be to contact people at companies who you think have the greatest need. Find a way to get in touch with someone at the company involved in hiring market researchers, and ask them what challenges they face. You can also talk with a few market researchers themselves to get an idea of where they see the greatest demand of companies looking to hire them. Hope this helps.BM

Should I create a WordPress site or build a custom website?
Go for Wordpress initially. -- Custom website will delay your launch plans considering all factors. -- Wordpress can be used to meet your requirements from day 1. -- Once you have enough visitors and decided the revenue model + business objective plan for a customized website to be developed from scratch.BK

What learning path do I have to take to become a "full-stack" web developer?
If I was just starting out, I'd consider learning Meteor (https://www.meteor.com/). It's just entered version 1.0 and after working with it for a little less than a year I do have some issues with it but it still makes for a very solid framework that gets you up and running very fast. You would only need to learn Javascript, and you can slowly work your way towards nodejs from there (which Meteor is based on) if you want to, or you could get the basics down and focus on learning design if you prefer.KD

How do I get people to subscribe to my email newsletter?
I would seriously consider launching a blog and posting content of the same type to the blog, in abundance. Then add a popup box to the blog to collect email addresses. Post daily blog posts about topics related to your blog and your newsletter. If you do this consistently, over time, you will build up traffic to your blog and also get people entering their email into your popup. This is the free way to do it...EW

I am not sure of the specifics you're asking, it seems like a lot of technical data.
