Not necessarily I would think that is dependent upon how closely your product will be woven into the routine functions of the business and which areas of real estate it will apply.
Licensing requirements will depend upon what exactly you are intending to do & which regulatory authority you fall under. If you provide more information people will be able to be more specific with their advice.
