I am a personal trainer (fitness professional) and wondered if anyone has any idea of the best businesses to collaborate with?
My trainer clients have had success with the usual; spas, naturopaths, and alternative practitioners. Also, very good success going into local medium companies and running 1 or 2 classes per day or week as a benefit to the employees - which opens up 1-on-1 prospects. I'd look into corporate opportunities (one to many).
Businesses like health food stores, locally owned stores, small extended stay hotels. Offer to give them coupons for a free trial class that they can give out to people who purchase. You can also offer to give out their coupons to people who purchase. You can offer a free workout for a business' employees. If you are in a strip mall, or around a lot of small businesses, you could offer free brief (not a full) monthly workouts to employees of the surrounding businesses.
I have owned my own personal training studio for over 19 years.
Going to like minded business such as running shoe and sporting stores are good. Also, places like local cafes and hairdressers are great.
Offering them some incentive always helps as well.
you better collaborate with a gym. there you will get business too.
Collaboration is very necessary in the growth of your fitness business. I've joined forces with the local farmers market and also a new smoothie shop nearby.
