MenuWhat software is best to use for web prototyping and wire framing?
Should I select one wireframe/prototype software for prototyping?
I wanted to deliver my web service as soon as possible, but I want to use the best possible tool.

I've been a web and UX designer for about ten years. I've mostly given up client work, but I stay fresh through research and occasional practice. As a writer for Web Designer Depot, I spend a lot of time researching the tools of the trade.
So far, my favorite app for wireframes has probably been Google Draw. I'm not even joking. Between the drawing features, the available shapes, and the collaboration and sharing features, it usually does what I need. The one caveat is that it can only do low-fi wireframes and prototypes.
If you need to do a lot of prototyping in mid-to-high-fidelity, you'll want software dedicated to that. The point is, choose the tool that helps you get YOUR point across to YOUR client, as efficiently as possible.
Are you developing interfaces for smaller, simpler sites? Google Draw can do that. Do you need something more complex? Look into Adobe XD, or InVision.
I... actually wrote a massive guide on this subject, but I don't know what the policy on links is around here. I'll just say this: tell us what you need to prototype, and for whom, and we can give you more targeted suggestions.
It depends a lot on what your service will be, can you give more details ?
For example, there are :
- mockups platforms (Moqup, Canva, MarvellApp)
- NoSQL hosted databases for simple mobile apps (Firebase)

Need help to understand how far APIs can take it us & what the user experience will actually look like?
While you are considering bringing all the Content Marketing & Measurement features and capabilities together with Project Managment ( I am assuming some type of cohesive management Dashboard with combined analytics ?), you might want to consider the following: - the integrated product should not make it a challenging user experience overall - is this something the customer/client needs, do you have relevant feedback to validate such a move ? - what might be the benefits to the platform & users by such a change It is hard to comment regarding APIs without more context on your goals. I have leveraged publicly available connectors & API modules to connect CRM, marketing automation and payment functions successfully. Happy to discuss further over a call and address your questionsSV

What is the fastest way to get a working prototype developed and funded at an early stage?
It really depends on what you're building here. If you can do any part of your product manually, I would suggest doing that in the first version. The absolute fastest way is to hire a contractor to get it done, but that can be expensive. If your first prototype can't be built with a prototyping tool (even a Keynote presentation) and it's too expensive or difficult to build on your own, you have to convince other people that you are solving an important problem, that your solution solves that problem, and that you have the right team to do it. VCs in a seed round will care more about the team than the idea, but crowdfunders will care about both. And obviously getting designers or developers to join your team for equity will require convincing them of all 3. Happy to give more specific advice based on your app thrugh a Clarity call!MM

How would you quickly prototype/test a service that usually takes place over several months?
Mock role-play with both parties at the same time (remote or in the same building). Schedule an hour session, pay for their time. This is the fastest method. In your question, you mention "often takes several months". I would assume there is a scenario that doesn't take several months. I would focus on testing only those shorter scenarios if possible to reduce the timeframe from other types of lengthy encounters with your service.JH
