MenuWhat are the best practices in growing an online business on Instagram?
I want to grow my own business on Instagram.
I created a software called Instaeasy (http://instaeasyfunciona.com.br/) but I'm having some troubles finding new customers.
There's a lot of competition here in Brazil and some of them have a lot of money to buy ads and find customers and I don't.
What you guys would do if you were me?

The quality of the photograph and the words you tag the photograph with are keys to success on Instagram. Along with the link to your URL of course. Be selective and post only the most beautiful and interesting unique images and use the best and most relevant words for tags for the search function. Also have a consistency in the images you post. It takes time but eventually you will attract Instagram users who will follow you and share your posted images and links.

Case Studies & Social Proof of the results you are getting for people & how at the end of the day they are converting for the customer. "Followers" is a vanity metric that not many business owners care about-- they care about conversions.

What are some tips for finding non-generic hashtags on Instagram?
I'd recommend defining what type of art you are seeking to find on Instagram. For example, optical art is a specific type of art. After some searching on Instagram, I was able to find #opart, which focuses on this particular type of artwork. To become more noticed on Instagram, I'd recommend finding a niche. Instead of creating an Instagram account about art, a better strategy would be to create an account about a specific type of art such as optical illusion artwork. The more specific you are about your niche, the better you are positioned to grow on the Instagram platform.

How do you sell on Instagram?
The best route is to establish relationship with established influencers in the market. Selling on social media is all about relationship - the key is to reach out and create a connection. Secondly, Instagram is all about consistency and hashtags. Posting original, high-quality photos of your art objects on a regular basis, using optimized hashtags will result in a growing audience. I've helped brands around the world increase their reach through optimization with varying budgets. I don't believe in "one-size-fits-all" approaches, as each market has a unique audience, product, and seller (you) - those are important considerations before launching any type of sales campaign. I'd be happy to schedule a call with you to discuss more in detail. -Shaun

Which strategies exist to monetize a small following of 1000 people on Instagram?
Instagram is great for attracting targeted customers. But the biggest problem is you can't add links in the post. The links are added as text and are not clickable. I think following is the only best way to covert your followers to customers: 1. Keep posting quality content. Always post unique, catchy and "can't resist to share" content. Content must force its viewer to share. And by force I mean it must be AMAZINNNGGG.... It's not like you just wrote "share this or you will go to hell" :D 2. Use hashtags. Research about them. Use most used hastags like "followme" "instacool" etc. But use that are more relevant to what you are selling. When you type "#" inside description of your post, Instagram will suggest you top hashtags. Select the one that is relevant to your business. 3. Give your followers free content like Preview PDF book (or something else that introduce your offer) in the website link on your profile page. 4. With each post add a line like "Click the link in the bio to get the free book" or "To know more click the link in the bio" or something else. 5. When user clicks the link you must take him to a page where he/she enters his/her email and then taken to a FREE content or download. 6. You collected their emails. Now its time to send newsletters about your paid content. Send them in 3 days gap or weekly. Don't send too much mails otherwise they will report your email as spam. This is how I made a good business from Instagram. I hope it helps you too. :)

how can I do a good instagram campain
I have a couple of ideas let your friends on other social media sites know about it.Such as Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin. In this case Facebook is probably the best. Let them know about what your goal and idea is on instagram. I have a friend who did something on instagram and two things I remember that helped him big time is first he had a nice following of people. And he had also had a great goal and idea for his thing on instagram. Another thing is to join a few networking groups and groups that focus on social media.
