Question
My website mainly targets international users, however, when I check my Google Analytics it shows that 20% of my traffic is coming from the United States; which is the highest country percentage in my GA.
I'm not sure if this is 100% accurate or maybe it's international users using USA proxies to access my website, but I wish this 20% was coming from an international country instead.
What tactics/methods can I use to increase my international traffic and lower the USA traffic coming to my website?
Answer
You can use Google search console to set international targeting. That will help. If you are running paid ads you can also designate that your ads are shown only in the countries of your choice.
