MenuWhy do sales from my Facebook ads only happen the first few days?
It seems to be a pattern that when I run Facebook ads I get sales very quickly but after just 2 - 3 days no more sales happens. The frequency the ad is shown goes from 1.5 to about 2.5 after a while. This happens on target groups that are in the size of 50,000 and even 500,000. I'm looking to create consistent sales from Facebook ads.

Thank you for sharing this question! The sales usually happen when the ads first run because Facebook knows who the most likely buyers are and once the ads have shown once, you are likely reaching the same people over and over.
The ad campaigns I have found that make the best sales are in the format of a post on a page with a lot of social proof. If your ads do not have social proof, then only the early adopters will buy. If your ads have thousands of likes, shares, and comments from a post on your page, then you can count on mainstream sales.

Facebook thrives on fresh, entertaining, highly targeted even quirky content. Since many on FB are not in the 'ads' frame of mind, you need 1. creativity & originality, 2. high emotional appeal & 3. a psychographic-heavy approach in your ads. #1 & #2 die quickly with ad frequency & reach
I agree with the other professional who said Facebook likes fresh content. We do paid advertising on Facebook for the purposes of general branding. It's never been a hard converter for us. It's really hard to reach a specific audience.
Also, with regard to our Facebook page, we always focus on quality content that will provide value to our target audience. Then when we want to advertise, we often will boost a post. For instance, we are hosting an event, so we have scheduled specific posts in the weeks leading up to the event. About a week out, we will pay to boost one of those posts once or twice.

There are different ways that you can make a profit from a Facebook group. The key is to understand your audience and know what type of services/products they would be interested in. I have more than 7 years of experience in digital marketing, managed over $50,000 in ad spend on various social media networks and currently managing over 30 Social media assets for various clients. You can add as many Funding sources to your Facebook Ad account as you want but all campaigns in your Ad account would be charged to the Primary funding source failing which the secondary and so on. Why is my landing page not converting after a thousand clicks of my FB ad?
Conversion at the page level is often impacted by who is showing up - and could be indicative of a mismatch between the ads you are running, the audience they attract, and the messaging on the landing page on arrival. You're also asking for both a phone number and an email address - while offering very little information in return - like what cities this is available in - what it costs - how long it takes, how it's different / better than other services in this same vein. Consider narrowing the focus of your ads down to a single city, and then customize the lander to include challenges specific to that city that this would eliminate (the long Saturday lines at XYZ Market - traffic on the crosstown etc) and reference brands and stores they'll know. The more you can make the landing page a reflection of your user and the problem you're hoping to solve for them - the better. Right now, it's not reflective at all - leaving most details to the imagination. Once you've dialed in on the approach in a single locale, you can expand your campaign by repeating the process (still customizing per market). I hope this helps.RR

Why are my Facebook and Twitter ads delivering very low impressions?
Your interpretation of Facebook's ad platform is pretty accurate and it may not be the best fit for your purposes. This may not be the answer you're looking for, but I don't feel that traditional FB and Twitter ads offer the quality or quantity of leads you are looking for. Given that you are hyper focused on location, you want to target groups / events / organizations in your area. You are targeting small business owners so you may want to target professional networks like LinkedIn. Posting into local groups or running ads should be more successful than FB and Twitter. You are targeting business minded people while they are on a business minded network. I'm sure you are targeting ad networks because they are automated and light touch. But you may want to look at listing on websites like https://www.sharedesk.net/. What is the difference between #topics and precise interests when choosing audience on Facebook ads?
Topic targeting is a broad way of targeting people who've expressed interest in that topic or "related topic". It's a good option if you want to create awareness, do branding or generate likes. But when your end goal is sales/leads - it's good to go for precise interests as that's like exact match - and it ensures that you're reaching only those people which you're actually targeting - not related ones.KS
