My ideas and efforts for over 3 years are centered in marketing or lead generation for renewable energy solar companies and in the area of fundraising using a program or vehicle that has been around and used by millions daily for many years but re-engineered and presented to a environment or segment of consumers that has never been approached. The one idea is designed to become a powerful means of raising funds that do not come out of the budget of the individual that wish to donate to their cause. These are not new iphone aps or new cures for cancer but very viable programs bringing value to many. Based on what I see within Fundables or Clarity is this an appropriate product or service?
I would need to know a little more about your product or service but it sounds to me like you are making an improvement to an existing product or service and that to me sounds like a viable business model. If you can package whatever the specific service or product is in a scale-able way through technology and prove the concept and gain some traction, then I think you could raise funds using a platform like Fundable or other platforms for that matter. I would be interested in learning more so I can give you more specific answers to this question.
Success is about product market fit - solving a problem for a large enough body of customers that you can repeatedly reach & service.
That isn't industry specific, but you can see how tech makes that formula easier because it becomes easier to reach a large body of customers and to build a repeatable process.
As for your idea, lead gen businesses struggle to receive funding - but can be successful if you can self fund/launch. My advice is to try the process manually at first. Can you find a customer and then get their solar funded, doing all the steps manually while you document the process.
If you can pull that off and analyze how to repeat it, you're off to the races
My first gut reaction is you have spent enough time developing your idea you must immediately test it now to see if it has financial merit. Let's get it tested and see if its going to work today in this business environment.
