Created 10 years ago

I've built and sold 4 businesses from scratch across numerous sectors. I'm a director, advisor, and investor in multiple startups now - advising entrepreneurs on cutting through the fluff and getting directly to doing the things that work and avoiding the many pitfalls and mistakes.

Philip is a joy to know and I have worked with him on several projects. As many people who have worked with him will recognise, he is stubborn. This stubbornness is simply a manifestation of his can-do-will-do work ethic. He will find a new project and become a domain expert within weeks, tearing through and disseminating as much information as he can lay his hands on. His mantra is 'it's not the idea it's the implementation'. As Yoda might say 'do or do not, there is no try'.
A great entrepreneur and one of life's great characters.
I have had the pleasure of working with Phil pretty much since the start of Keynoir. In less than a year, Phil managed to bring his vision of creating a niche luxury player into reality, successfully growing the business in a very competitive landscape. He’s a hands-on serial entrepreneur with a great sense for product, an open-minded approach to leadership and an impressive ability to attract top-notch individuals to work as part of his team.

His passion and gentle persuasive nature contributed largely to Keynoir's current success. Phil is an easy going individual who is easy to get on with and while I worked with Phil at Keynoir, his attitude and drive made Keynoir a great place to work. Phil's decision to move on to new horizons will be Keynoir's loss.

Phil is a great entrepenure, who really knows how to move a project on. i believe that the success he showed in pioneering the shopping search industry in the UK is the best example of this
Source: LinkedIn Glen Drury Feb 2, 2015Phil is a person in which vision is a talent, determination and perseverance are daily norms, calculated risk is an acceptance for success and pure passion and desire for innovative, cutting edge products are his quest. He genuinely cares about how the net is developing as functional tool for the enhancement of society and how he can sincerely make a contribution to this.
Source: LinkedIn Jeremy Crooks Feb 2, 2015Philip has a rare mix of creativity to generate new ideas and innovative approaches to problems, as well as the people skills and passion to make those ideas a reality. His determination and commitment to ideas he believes in are a reason to have confidence that Philip will always come through. On a softer note, Philip is a genuinely good person and fun to hang out with.

He successfully championed wireless home networking within Telewest Blueyonder from 2002. I recommend Phil as a trusted business partner, someone who posses great ability and is a true modern day visionary.
