So, you have found yourself in a situation where your team is not really delivering. They say they will get things done, and you trust them but, there are no results or things are really delayed. Every single time that they say they will deliver you walk away smiling and thinking that they finally get it. They never do. What’s even worse, this is now starting to affect you personally.
The big questions is; can anything be done about this and if so, how?
The short answer is yes, in 98% of cases this can be fixed. The remaining 2% where the issue cannot be fixed are the people that do not want to cause any friction with the team they manage and, are afraid of any changes.
I am not going to say that this is easy as it most likely will require you to change your own behaviour – one of the most difficult things to do. The improvement might not be immediate, it might take a few weeks to implement and it might mean you having to get rid of one or two bad apples (in some extreme cases). The good news is that it really is about 7 or 8 simple steps that you will have to follow slavishly until these become a second nature to you. It really is that simple.
This coaching / help session is for the 98% that are willing to push themselves. I will help you to make sure that your team starts delivering with a no-nonsense approach to team management. I have done this with supervisors and managers from Heildelberg Cement, Legrand, ACE insurance, BHB Billiton, Lafarge, Octapharma, Bombardier, and others.
