Build a Tech Team in Portugal

Pedro asked for background 2 different times before the call started, to make sure he understood my needs. He then gave me a short recap of my situation and asked more questions. After he had the info he needed he started sharing advice. Very candid, very casually, I also enjoyed his demeanor and humor. When studying at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, Pedro took one of my classes. It was a great pleasure having him in the student project team that worked on the development of an analytical framework for innovations in ICT-infrastructures. He showed great project management capabilities and was a driving force for the entire team to reach deadlines. Pedro combines good intellectual (research) skills with a practical mind towards getting things done, without loosing the commitment from other team members.

Pedro worked with me on my team in the area of supervision of IT systems that support services of dispatch, maintenance and repair of electrical distribution network (EDP Distribuição). He is now responsible for ensuring good performance, maintenance of a major system WFM (Worf Force Management), used by 1700 users in the field, as well its functional and technological developments to meet business requirements.
