iOS development from idea to the final product
Can you automate any of the tasks? I'm sure there are lots of repetitive tasks that can be "streamlined".
Can you delegate? Unless you're always creating new things (which should command a high fee) there is always scope to teach someone to take over at least some aspects of your work life.
Working longer leads to tiredness which leads to making poorer decisions which increases the time you need to complete a task => vicious circle.
Paul is a very talented developer and it was a pleasure working with him. Highly recommended.
Paul is more than just a talented developer, he is also an excellent problem solver with a pragmatic and successful approach to software development. He is also a great guy!
Paul is one of the few developers I've worked with who genuinely understands what makes for a good user experience and why interface design is so important. I'd happily recommend him and hope to work with him again in the future.
Paul has a deep understanding of the iOS platform, how to create compelling applications and can also teach too!
ThomsonReuters Mobile executives were completely wowed by the UX he created for 'Global Law'.
If you have an idea for an iOS app Paul will turn it into a reality very quickly.
Paul is a highly skilled developer with expert knowledge in many areas, particularly open source technologies. Paul worked successfully on many high profile projects here at IPC Media.
Paul is a highly skilled and versatile developer, able to design and implement a cleanly structured architecture. I'd have no hesitation in recommending him for any PHP or Ruby on Rails position.
I had the luck of working directly under Paul for the past six months; Paul was informative, knowledgable, patient, reliable, efficient and personable and made my life at IPC much easier!
I attended a 4 day training session with Paul at SkillsMatters.com and I can say that it was a pretty full on and a productive session. Paul is a very friendly and knowledgeable trainer who makes his audience feel comfortable about asking questions and encourages them to explore areas on the technology. I am happy to recommend Paul for any iOS related training or development projects and I am sure he will be stellar at it
Paul is an excellent developer, speaker and trainer. I have attended a number of his talks and always found them to be very clear, concise and informative. Paul also helped me resolve an issue with an app I have developed, and his in-depth knowledge of Xcode proved very useful.
I would have no hesitation recommending Paul, both as a developer and as a trainer/speaker.
When you work with programmers directly it's like trying to interpret Chinese, they may as well be speaking in a foreign language. Patience levels are then quite often worn thin on both sides. Contrary to this, Paul's experience in working with different functions has given him the ability to speak on your level so you understand what is going on without getting bamboozled. Insight into the industry, competence in solving problems and delivering high end solutions has always led to Paul delivering great results in my experience.
Paul used his extensive knowledge of different OO-languages to relate questions students had to their individual backgrounds, whether Java, .NET or C#.
