Assessment

I was the WA State High School/End-of-Course Mathematics Assessment Specialist and a founding member of the Assessment Team at Woodland High School in 2004. I have delivered numerous presentations on formative assessment, specializing in assessment strategies that utilize technology in the classroom.

Moodle

I have been using Moodle since 2008 in the classroom and have delivered trainings and numerous presentations about the use of Moodle to support face-to-face classroom learning. As the WA State High School Mathematics Assessment Specialist, I used Moodle to deliver online trainings and provide resources for teachers across the state.

Student Response Systems

I began using eInstruction student response systems in the classroom in 2005 and have delivered presentations and trainings on their use. Most recently I began using Socrative as a student response system in a one-to-one environment.

Technology Integration

I have a Master's degree in Educational Technology, a WA State Teaching Endorsement in Instructional Technology (grades 4-12), and extensive personal experience. I have delivered trainings and presentations and have mentored teachers to help them integrate technology to support student learning and achievement.
