The workforce is changing and marketing leaders can use this to their advantage. The answer doesn't always have to be a full time employee to fill a need. In fact, you may be able to find higher quality talent for less money with specialized virtual contractors.

I stopped hiring full time employees two years ago and now manage a marketing team of remote, virtual contractors. Rather than one person to do minimally well at a wide variety of tasks, I have multiple contractors that specialize in certain areas.

The results have meant major cost savings, higher efficiency, and better results.
