Artist Management : Artist Management is so much about breaking the process into smaller tasks, pre-visualising problems that may arise with each task and having a solution handy. If you can develop this trait by practice, all other traits will be a piece of cake. The job involves know how of skills like marketing, accounting, legal, production, travel planning, team leadership, execution to name a few. The most important skillset would be sincerity & street smartness.
Early Retirement : One needs to sow the mental seed of early retirement a few years before actually taking the step. Dividing the life span in two halves, one where you pursue career, money , growth for the first half and pursue family time, peace of mind and sustenance for the second half.
