I am a Structural Engineer, STEM Educator and Entrepreneur based in North Carolina. My experience includes 8+ years of research at the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, 7+ years as a Bridge Design Engineer, and 5+ years as an adjunct Engineering Instructor at North Carolina State University.
My most notable work is helping early-career professionals find their niche so they can design and build successful STEM careers. In 2012, I founded STEMedia Incorporated, a media company that provides inspirational and educational creative content for the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) community. Since its inception, I have won national awards, engaged thousands through public speaking and lectures, and partnered with several organizations, businesses and academic institutions in STEM outreach.
