Monce is an excellent colleague- helpful, diligent and extremely hard working. We worked together on many projects and I was deeply impressed by his vast knowledge and ability to network with people so quickly. He brings with him positive vibes which makes a workplace lot more fun.
Source: LinkedIn Neha Mehta Jan 15, 2014In my role at IVCA (and due the fact that we shared a rather small room), I had the chance to see Monce fully immersed in his work. His actual duties encompassed a much wider range of tasks than his formal title might indicate. In fact, it seemed to me that Monce was doing the work of more than two full-time employees, but I never got the sense that he was overworked or frustrated. Monce is one of those unique individuals for whom "Keep Calm and Carry On" is a way of life, not just a cliché saying. I also saw Monce as he managed teams during the vintage publication of the IVCA magazine, RIPE. Getting things done in India that require interacting with multiple vendors to produce a finished product under tight time constraints is usually a nightmarish endeavor, so when I saw the distribution-ready final copy of RIPE in my hand several days before the ship deadline, I was impressed.
Monce added immeasurable value to my summer internship at IVCA in New Delhi and was solely responsible for fully integrating me into the close-knit team in a completely new environment (and new country) for me. First, he made sure I had direct access to the President so that I could work on projects that were important to the mission of the organization. Second, he went out of his way to make sure I always had lunch together with the team so we could bond --- this social cohesion helped me be more productive. Last and most importantly, he was great company during breaks and was a joy to be around.
Source: LinkedIn private private Jan 15, 2014I had the opportunity to work with Monce last summer when I interned at IVCA. Monce was extremely welcoming and although I did not report directly to him, he was always willing to help. He was primarily responsible for overseeing sales and marketing for magazines and databases IVCA released. Other than work, Monce was passionate about helping differently abled children at a special school. Monce is very sincere about his work and an absolutely wonderful person to work with.
Source: LinkedIn Sukriti Chadha Jan 15, 2014It was truly a pleasure working with Monce in the capacity of a summer intern under him. He was always supportive, friendly and helpful. As a summer intern quite unfamiliar with the mechanics of the Private Equity / Venture Capital world Monce was a great resource to rely upon and learn from whenever I needed help or guidance. I do believe the foundation that I managed to attain at IVCA has a lot of credit to take for my being able to function as an investment professional at Summit Partners today. Monce, as my immediate superior at the time, deserves a lot of credit for the same.
Source: LinkedIn Abhishek Chawdhry Jan 15, 2014I had the pleasure of working with Monce during my tenure as Chairman of the Indian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (IVCA). I think highly of Monce, who did a great job in managing marketing and research for our association. His contributions covered many of our activities, and he is very organized and effective. I would recommend him highly to anyone.
Source: LinkedIn Sumir Chadha Jul 9, 2013I had the opportunity of working with Monce on the 'Voice of Youth' (VOY) team - Infosys Pune.
Amongst the team of 10 individuals chosen from the entire workforce of Infosys, Pune (around 16,000 back in 2009); he pretty soon made it clear as to why he made the cut. His ideas towards making Infosys a better place plus leveraging the Brand name of Infosys was energizing and refreshing; not to mention the way he handles and interacts with his team, engaging them positively while getting participation from everyone.
He was part of the 3 member VOY team that interacted with the Infosys (Pune) Leadership during their Leadership camp (Visioning exercise) as well as when drawing and brainstorming the 'Vision' and 'Mission' of Infosys, Pune.
Wishing you the very best in all your endeavours.
Source: LinkedIn Sugandha Anand, CHRP Candidate Jul 9, 2013I have known Monce for 4 years. After our stint at Infosys, Monce worked alongside me as a Project Coordinator at India Sponsor Foundation (ISF), New Delhi. Both of us represented ISF at 'TiECon 2009', as well as the 'Airtel Delhi Half Marathon 2009 (ADHM)'. He later went on to join the ISF team after being offered a position with them.
At ISF, he handled the operations single-handedly and also worked on making their monitoring and tracking system more efficient. A skilled and astute manager, Monce was the creative lead of the team that designed and prepared content for the ISF Newsletter which is circulated to more than 1000+ NPOs and corporate entities. His consummate command over language has made him indispensable in this regard.
Monce is very proactive, believes in team work, building consensus, problem solving along with taking opinions and evaluating the situation with his peers. He is a true leader and has excellent interpersonal skills that have helped him build networks within and outside the organization. Monce is adept at preparing strategy and marketing plans. Besides, he has excellent presentation skills, and is committed to creating awareness about corporate social responsibility.
Monce is very passionate about working for social causes, helping the underprivileged and making a difference to their lives for the better. I am confident that Monce is capable of achieving all that he aims for and will be an asset wherever he goes. He will definitely set an example in the class for others to follow.

Source: LinkedIn Manhar Khanna Jul 9, 2013I have interacted with Monce as part of various employee engagement initiatives and found him to be a very enthusiastic and talented professional. He likes to take initiatve and contribute positively to every endeavor he undertakes. I wish him all the best for all his future plans and am positive that he will be an asset to any organization he joins.
Source: LinkedIn Anica Govil Jul 9, 2013I worked with Monce for almost one year. In that span, I found him as a sincere and hard working person. The most important trait I found in him was his consistent approach to explore ideas and ways to improve productivity and efficiency. He has an eye for automations to reduce manual labor. We used to have very stringent timelines for maintenance/development project we were working on. Having Monce on-board, reduced the turnaround greatly.
He is a very good presenter and tutor as well. To all the new joinees in team, Monce used to take knowledge transition sessions in subtle yet elaborate manner. His work as Knowledge Management lead in the team was highly appreciable.
Other than regular work activities, Monce also tries to keep a perfect balance between professional and personal life. He was also active in many organization activities like Toastmaster's club, Voice of Youth (VoY), Sports etc; along with his Professional commitments.
At the age of 23, he was the youngest on the VoY team, and the only individual from the 'Insurance, Healthcare and LifeSciences' (IHL) Business Vertical to make it to a team of 10 individuals chosen from the entire workforce (approx 16,000 back in 2009) of Infosys, Pune.
I strongly recommend him as a person to work with.
Regards,
Anshuman"
I feel Privileged to write about Monce. We worked for Infosys Voice of Youth Team. He is very vocal, innovative and does have loads of enthusiasm. He is always optimistic and is focused to bring a positive change.
As VP at Infosys Pune Toastmasters Club:
Monce has been an active member of our Toastmasters Club. He is always confident and articulative. He had shown a high level of maturity and excellent communication and leadership skills.
