I was paired up with Mike - as my mentor, for the Enbridge Mentorship program at the University of Calgary - MBA in summer 2010 and the association has turned out to be one of the highlights of my Masters program. It has been my pleasure and good fortune to have spent some enriching time with Mike over the course of this past year, collecting insights into personality development, career monitoring and focused networking.

Mike's meticulous approach, unique social media knowledge and articulation make him an outstanding mentor and professional. I would relish the opportunity of connecting/working with him again.

I had the pleasure of working with Mike when we were developing the social technology strategy for HP’s $10B Technology Services business. Mike applied his cutting-edge social technology thought leadership to helping HP solve real business problems in a completely new space. His consulting skills are also outstanding – Mike possesses the rare ability of intuitively knowing how to quickly get to the heart of a problem, then ensuring that the outcomes produce valuable business results.

Mike has unique "out of the box" thinking. He has come up with ideas and concepts that have never been discussed but merit some serious consideration. He was always well respected by customer due to his IT knowledge and industry trends and fostered strong senior links into key companies.

Mike and I worked together in the Global Processes and Tools Team, both when it was in Global Delivery and later when it moved to Outsourcing Services. We partnered frequently on common initiatives and participated in team alignment of processes and tools for global deployment to regions. Even subsequent to Mike moving on to new responsibilities, we remain connected and frequently rely on one another for "sanity check" discussions. Our working relationship remains strong and I highly recommend Mike as someone with whom it is a pleasure to collaborate.

Mike has an expert ability in quickly comprehending business requirements and goals, and developing effective IT strategies to achieve the desired outcomes. Mike was very knowledegable of his subject and could be relied upon for effective, practical solutions. He was a very credible professional and presented at all levels of customer management. Good knowledge of the complete outsourcing portfolio

Mike worked on the Compaq/HP merger team (the clean room). Mike's contributions in this role were exceptional. He worked long hours under some very tight time commitments and throughout this initiative Mike's contributions were noticed at the highest levels of the organization.

Mike provide outstanding leadership within Compaq's MS Engineering group. His thoughtful approach to addressing business problems were a key strength. Any organization would be fortunate to have Mike on their team.

Mike and I both worked in IT at Madge Networks. He was extremely customer-focused, dedicated and personable and easily won the respect of his colleagues and superiors. The Clarify project was a huge success thanks to Mike's hard work and perseverance. He would be a key asset to any company.
