Figuring out which social media channels to be the most active in can be extremely challenging, especially where there is a new social networking site popping up every other day. I can help you drown out the noise here by teaching you the basics of growing your networks, sharing tools you can use to manage your presence, and setting you up to keep your following growing each day, week, and month.
I just launched my own new show, HealthSparx, geared towards some of the topics and areas I love most - healthcare, technology, business, and entrepreneurship. I've also put together a successful Health 2.0 Blog of great content about startups and businesses in the health and technology arena in Dallas. Blogging is extremely important in building a brand, and when you combine with podcasting, you set yourself up to capture a lot of attention! There are definitely some hurdles to navigate when putting together your own media empire, so would be happy to help save someone the time and cut straight to what they need to make one come to life.
As Founder of Health 2.0 Dallas, I work with and collaborate with leaders in the healthcare community both locally and nationally. Healthcare is undergoing a significant transition that will affect all of us. If you or your company are having questions about what these changes are and what they could mean, I'd be happy to chat with you.
Growing up playing 3 or 4 organized sports each year, I've always had a huge passion for fitness, nutrition, and being as active as I possibly can. Most people struggle to make the time to remain active later on and throughout their careers. My belief has always been that by taking that time each day, I am actually drastically increasing my productivity. Your career doesn't suffer, it benefits. This belief led me to get certified with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a personal trainer so that I could share this passion with clients. I've worked for LA Fitness now for the last 4 months assisting people on a 1-on-1 or group basis with their fitness and nutrition programs.
I am currently involved with 3 great startups just getting set to launch and have a huge passion for creating organizations that can help or educate people. Each startup (Cariloop, HealthSparx, and Health 2.0 Dallas) is in the Health Technology arena, an area that is absolutely exploding with innovation right now. As a young entrepreneur, I've had the chance to meet and network with some amazing people over the last few years as I've worked to get these startups off the ground. Each of these people and experiences has had a profound impact on me, so I'd love to be able to share what I've learned with others in hopes that it might help them as well.
Michael is a calm, no-nonsense guy with no-nonsense advice to offer. He's a great listener and very practical. The advice and support I was seeking was exactly what I got!
Smart entrepreneur with deep knowledge in the senior care space. Shared actionable and hard-learned insights. I'm excited to see where he leads Cariloop!
Awesome talk! Great feedback and insight. Will definitely be taking steps to implement some of the strategies we discussed.
Mike has a great perspective on startups, especially in the healthcare space. He's very active in the Dallas entrepreneurial community and has a true passion for trying to help other entrepreneurs turn their ideas into businesses. I enjoyed talking with Michael about creating the right business model and marketing strategy for my own ventures.
It was great talking to Michael. He is very knowledgeable about start-ups and the healthcare industry. Time and money well spent. Thank you
I cannot say enough good things about Michael as a personal trainer - he genuinely cares about helping people and encouraging them. Rather than walking you through a generic workout, he tailors your workout so you can meet YOUR goals. Not only does he create a workout just for you (and adjust it as needed), he encourages, he motivates, and he pushes you to be the best you (at least in the gym). I remember after several weeks of working out with Michael, I was very discouraged because I hadn't lost weight like I was hoping. I shared my frustration with him but he wouldn't let me give up, and here I am a year later, in the best shape of my life! I've shed pounds, gained muscle and am overall much healthier and happier! Though I was the one doing the workouts, I owe all my success to Michael for creating workouts and encouraging me along the way.
Michael has made the world of difference in my view towards fitness. I am constantly challenged and actually look forward to the next session. His friendliness and encouragement make him the type of trainer that everybody should have. I know we may eventually have issues in regards to my stubbornness, but I know he will work hard to push me and assist me in improving what I intend to accomplish.
