ML$1/min per minuteNew ArrivalHigher Productivity for You and Your TeamMichael Lin • Scottsdale, ArizonaCreated 7 years ago in Skills & Management / ProductivityDo you realize, there is no such thing as "Time Management"???!!! Can we manage time, by saving time? Like saving left over turkey in a freezer? Electricity in a battery? Rain water in a dam? Obviously NOT. Time just ticks away. Utilize it, or lose it. So we can't really manage time, the only thing we can manage, is ourselves. In other words, the key to "Time Management", is "Self Management". 01. How to overcome Procrastination? 02. How to work on multiple projects at the same time? 03. What tasks can one multitask together? 04. What tasks people should NEVER multitask together? 05. How do we prevent employees from interrupting each other? 06. How to get out of having to attend "Waste of Time" meetings? 07. How to run meetings in the most efficient way? 08. How to manage remote employees? 09. How to say No? 10. How to delegate work? 11. Who to delegate what tasks to? 12. What tasks should you NEVER delegate away? 13. How to get time wasters out of your office? 14. How to trade tasks/projects with your colleagues? 15. How to deal with people who are difficult or negative? 16. How to prioritize tasks/projects? Which one do you work on first? Which one should you work on right now? 17. How to motivate your employees for higher productivity? 18. How are you measuring productivity? Are you measuring the wrong things? I've written and published 4 books while running my own business, managed my own team, managed my own remote employees. I've taught many overachievers on how to squeeze more out of their 24 hours 7 days. What is your current situation? Are you reaching your goals as fast as you possibly can? Email me your questions, schedule a call, let me help you to reach your goal, and reach your goals faster!Michael Lin Scottsdale, ArizonaNew Arrival

ML$1/min per minuteNew ArrivalPublic Speaking - How to Convince Your Audience?Michael Lin • Scottsdale, ArizonaCreated 7 years ago in Skills & Management / Public SpeakingThey say "Public Speaking is Number 1 Fear in America:-(" I am a very successful Seminar Leader, I teach all day seminars in Leadership topics - yet this is my humble background: 1. I was born poor in a 3rd world country; 2. I speak American English as my 3rd language; 3. I was the biggest introvert nerd - LOL. I overcame a lot of obstacles. Let me use what I learned on my own odyssey to help you with your upcoming public presentation. I specialize in turning your feeling from "Fear of getting on stage to speak" into "I can't wait to get on stage to speak!" I will help you to: 1. Figure out what is the end goal of your speech? What action(s) do you need/want your audience to take? What is the purpose of your speech? 2. At the end of your speech, what emotional state do you need your audience to be in, in order for them to make the "correct" decision, to take the "correct" action - which is the action that you wanted them to take in the first place. 3. At the beginning of your speech, where is your audience at? What's going on inside their heads/hearts? What info/facts do they hold, what belief/thought do they have? What emotional state are they in? 4. How are we going to lead them, using facts and logic, their facts and their logic? How do you lead them, from one emotional state to the next emotional state, to the next emotional state, to the next emotional state, until they arrive at the right emotional state, for them to take the action, that you wanted them to take? Everything you do while on stage, is for the purpose stated above: 1. The content of your speech; 2. The sequence of your speech; 3. The stories you choose to tell, the examples you choose to give; 4. Your choice of words and phrases; 5. Your voice: tonality, pausing, pitch, inflection, volume... your facial expression, your posture, your hand gesture, your body language... Let me help you design and practice your speech, so you will: 1. Want to get on stage and start talking, as opposed to not wanting to get on stage; 2. Instead of coming across as highly rehearsed and "putting on an act", your sincerity and confidence will naturally radiant out of you. 3. As a result, your audience will take ACTION, and do what you want them to do!!! Email me your questions, schedule a call. Let me help you, to get your audience to want to do what you wanted them to do!Michael Lin Scottsdale, ArizonaNew Arrival

ML$1/min per minuteNew ArrivalHow to Lead Your Team?Michael Lin • Scottsdale, ArizonaCreated 7 years ago in Skills & Management / LeadershipBefore you had employees, all you had to worry about, was to lead, manage, and motivate yourself - that was easy for you. Now, your success is depended upon how your employees perform - which is no longer easy for you :-( Employees don't come to work, for free, in order to make share holders richer. :-( 01. What sort of personality traits should you be looking for, when hiring top employees? 02. What sort of personality traits should you be looking to avoid, if you don't want to make any hiring mistakes? (It's becoming more and more difficult, legally, to terminate employees, and it will only get even more difficult, especially in places like California) 03. What questions should you NEVER use during job interviews? Did you know, with these type of wrong questions, only good actors can give you good answers, and you really don't want to hire good actors, for they will turn into a different person, on their 91st day on the job! 04. What sort of questions should you be asking, to find out if the candidates are telling the truth? 05. How do you motivate employees for higher performance? 06. How do you coach your employees? 07. How do you overcome your own feeling of uneasiness, when it comes to disciplinary actions, or even termination? 08. How do you manage/lead your former co-workers and your friends? 09. How do you manage/lead the person who also wanted the position/promotion that you just got, who is also your friend, and is not happy he/she didn't get the position/promotion? 10. How do you manage/lead technical people? 11. What is the number 1 thing you can no longer do, now you are the leader? 12. How to become more influential and persuasive? 13. What is the secret to getting others to want to hear what you have to say, and take action too? 14. How to deal with "Difficult People"? 15. How to become the kind of leader that others would love to follow? 16. How to figure out what your employees are thinking/feeling but are not telling you? 17. How to bring out the best in people? 18. Do you know what your employees want/need/crave from you? 19. How do you figure out what your employees want/need/crave from you? 20. How are you measuring productivity? Are you measuring the wrong things? 21. How do you get employees to want to go that extra mile? To give you more than 100%? 22. How do you help your employees to understand each other better? 23. How do you help your employees to understand you better? 24. How do you improve your understanding of the true meaning and intention behind every word, sentence, conversation, email? 25. How to tell if an employee is truly inspired and motivated, vs giving you the lip service and can't wait to get back to playing computer games, watching youtube video, chat on social media, and busy job hunting? 26. How do you deal with bureaucracy? in house rules that get in the way? 27. Why should you delegate? Who should you delegate what tasks to? How to delegate? What tasks should you NEVER delegate away? What's going to happen to your career/business if you don't delegate? How to overcome your feeling of uneasiness when it comes to delegating more? 28. How to prevent yourself from accidentally demotivate people, while trying to motivate them? Did you know, different people have different reasons for being part of your dream/team? For example: Employees' reasons for coming to work, is often totally different from that of yours!!! If you project your reason for your passion onto your employees, it may not end well. You need to figure out, what is the reason and motivation, for each and every single individual team member on your team. And this is not something you can ask them point blank, because they may not be able to articulate, and often they are too shy to tell you what their true reason is. So how do you figure it out? It is now your responsibility to provide the following to your employees: 01. Direction; 02. Guidance; 03. Help; 04. Hope; 05. Comfort; 06. Validation; 07. Insight; 08. Wisdom; 09. Inspiration; 10. Coaching. But where do you get all or even any of the above? Are you ready to take your career, your business, your self development, your personal growth, and most importantly - your team... all to the next level? Email me your questions, schedule a call, and let me help you get there and get there fast!Michael Lin Scottsdale, ArizonaNew Arrival
