Life with intention. I am a lifelong curious 'explorer' who has passionately pursued both the corporate and start-up worlds. I have worked for and primarily with Silicon Valley and Boston-based technology start-ups and established mid-range companies with explosive growth (and one behemoth minus explosive growth) in a sales and sales management capacity. At the same time, I expanded my journey by getting involved with startups as an angel investor, advisor, executive, board member and fundraiser starting in the mid-90's. This parallel track to my ‘day job’ has allowed me to develop additional unique points of view, skill sets, and a broad/deep expertise. I am consistently learning and challenging myself with a focus on courage rather than comfort.
Currently, I'm using both experiences as the basis for how I approach evaluating my opportunities. By combining my 'linear' traditional and start-up business expertise with the 'nonlinear' 2.0 business approach, I've become an evolved & empathetic team member, contributor, and manager with a focus on true leadership.
Sales experience: Solid experience in go-to-market strategies, social selling style of engagement, strategic planning and execution (MEDDIC), high-dollar negotiation, innovative marketing (content marketing), complex technology solutions and strategic partnerships. Track record of identifying and acquiring high-value accounts.
