Food Service Consultant, The Cambridge Restaurant Project
COVID 19 Update: Restaurant operators and small business owners need to prepare for the "new normal" as the national conversation begins to include the reopening of our economy. What you do now will increase your chances of success in the weeks and months to come. I love to share my thoughts with you.
My recent client work has focused on restaurant turnaround. By focusing on the owners Vision and the restaurants Mission we help restaurants get back on track with well thought out and strategic team building in addition to an intentional employee & guest experiences. Ultimately, developing a group of people who work happily and tirelessly toward helping owners realize their goals.
Founder of Four Burgers, 2008, 20+ years experience in Fast Casual, Quick Serve restaurant concepts.
Co Founder, The Paramount Restaurant, Beacon Hill, Boston 1995 - 2011. As managing partner I established The Paramount as one of the busiest breakfast restaurants in Boston and, per sq foot, one of the busiest restaurants in the country. As managing partner, I saw sales grow from $850,000 in year 1 to over $2M at time of sale, all out of less than 1000 sf.
Co Founder, The Blarney Stone, Dorchester. Performed gut rehab and re branding of this legendary Boston landmark. As the first Irish bar in America to serve Guinness on draft, the challenge was to preserve the history and embrace the present. Opened in 2001 and sold (at a profit) 2006.
The restaurant business is a challenging but very rewarding field. I have had many successes and I have made my share of mistakes. These experiences have taught me a great deal about the many aspects of the restaurant industry. I look forward to sharing what I have learned with you.
I spend my spare time with my family, enjoy traveling, bike racing, triathlon and mountain skiing.
